Chuck Hanvey and Rhonda Kay are co-owners of Tex Pest Patrol and both have worn many hats while serving the Real Estate Industry.
For the past 7 years Chuck has been licensed as a Professional Home Inspector and is the owner of Reality Check Inspections.
Chuck is also a Certified Pesticide Applicator licensed through theTexas Department of Agriculture (TDA) and Structural Pest Control Board.
Chuck has been a licensed Realtor in California and Arizona and yes "he did get to Texas just as fast as he could !!! ".
Over the past 25 years, Chuck was in the remodeling and home repair business as well as industrial maintenance giving him additional insight beyond most inspector's experience. Knowing and understanding how your home's systems work enables him to effectively eliminate your pest problems. He will then design an effective management and treatment solution to keep your home safe from pests.
Rhonda is a born and raised South Texas girl. Rhonda has been involved with the Real Estate Industry her entire career. Her first career was in the Title Insurance industry and for over 30 years worked hard to protect consumers against real estate fraud. Her duties included working at the then, State Board of Insurance, now known as the Texas Department of Insurance.
As an expert in the regulation of laws, practices, and standards, she helped enforce compliance of the rules and regulations within the
Title Insurance industry.
Rhonda has served on many boards and committees and authored procedural rules to enforce fair insurance practices. She was also an expert witness at the annual State of Texas Title Insurance Hearings and has served in both the State's Insurance Commissioner's
and at the Director of Title Insurance Offices.
Rhonda was honored as Young Title Person of the Year, has served as President of the Bexar County Land Title Association and the Business and Professional Women of Texas chapters.
Teaching and mentoring are two of Rhonda's passions, and she has enjoyed them in her many years of professional management.
Four years ago Rhonda retired from The Title Insurance Industry to take on new challanges. She became a licensed Realtor.
As a Realtor, "I am again serving my community by representing buyers and sellers in the often complicated process of Real Estate transactions. My goal is to always exceed my clients expectations."
